Year 4
During the recent 'Fagley Science Week', Year 4 really enjoyed investigating different aspects of electricity. Here, the children were generating static electricity to test what kind of materials were able to be lifted with the energy that they had created. They rubbed a balloon on either their head or jumper to create an electrical charge. Next, they tested which materials were able to be lifted by the electrically charged balloon. The lighter materials were the easiest to lift where as materials such as beans and marbles were unable to be lifted
