Visit to Leeds City Museum
Class 1 recently went to Leeds City Museum where we got to explore the different galleries. There were so many things for us to do and learn about. It was so much fun. In the afternoon we had an Egyptian workshop where we got to see a mummy and learn lots of interesting facts. We were also shown the process of mummifying a body using a doll. Did you know that the brains are removed using a hook through the nose? We also got the chance to make an amulet. Class 1 had such a fantastic day and would highly recommend the museum if you get the chance to visit.
