Class 2 have been learning about the First World War.
We listened to a visitor who told us all about life in the trenches. We found out about the horrendous conditions, the food that was eaten and the letters that were sent to and from the soldiers. We took on the role of various characters during the war and acted out different scenarios. We used these experiences to write our own letters from the trenches, create a diary entry and produce some amazing remembrance art work to remember those that have died in the war.
